Deep respect to the midwives who pour their hearts into their work. They serve so selflessly. Truly a calling placed in them by God. Bless you more! ♥️

This is an amazing documentary! Indigenous mothers who give birth at home show extraordinary courage, relying on their strength and traditions despite scarce resources. Alongside them stand brave Midwives, whose compassion and guidance help bring new life into the world with resilience and hope. In the mountains, where life is demanding and resources are scarce, the Midwives stand as pillars of strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion. As a community, we must continue to help and support indigenous families. Way back then, I had the opportunity to be part of a mountaineering group who donated clothes and school bags to the Aetas. Let us all work hand in hand ensuring the indigenous people have access to safe care, respecting their traditions, and walking with them towards a healthier, more empowered future. Our continued support strengthens their resilience and honors the dignity they carry every day.

Such a strong way to end the series. Watching mothers and midwives work together despite limited resources made me reflect on how life continues because of quiet dedication. Really proud of how this story was told. Big kudos to the Giting ng Duyan team for honoring these stories with care.

This documentary powerfully highlights how indigenous communities continue to face immense challenges when it comes to childbirth, especially due to limited resources and the long distances from hospitals and proper medical care. As a male, I can’t help but feel deep admiration and awe for how strong women are and how much they endure to bring life into the world, often under conditions most of us can’t imagine. Their resilience deserves far more recognition and support. Kudos to the entire Giting ng Duyan team behind this documentary for shedding light on these realities with sensitivity and respect, and for giving voice to stories that truly matter 🙂
